For my first quarter play
review I evaluated the play Sunshine Boys.
Written by Neil Simon this play is about a vaudeville duo that suffers a bitter
break up and now in years later, the 1970’s
they are forced to reunite in order
to perform their signature sketch one last time on a CBS history of comedy
special. This assignment was difficult for me because I had to analyze the play
as I viewed it. This meant interpreting the theme and other important elements.
This play review demonstrates my proficiency in evaluating a plot and
identifying key elements.
